May 10, 2021 - CSUCI's Napa Gallery and the Santa Rosa Island Research Station (SRIRS) are pleased to announce the opening reception for the virtual exhibition Santa Rosa Island – Gateway to Expression will be held via zoom on Thursday, May 27 at 6 p.m.
Hosted by SRIRS staff members Russel Bradley and Robyn Shea, and CSUCI Professors Mathew Furmanski and Marianne McGrath, the evening's programing will include select artist talks and a tour of the virtual exhibition.
The exhibition team would like to thank all those that submitted work to this open call. The resulting show, which includes works from current students, CSUCI alumni, and faculty and staff, as well as members of the National Park Service and the general public, is a testament to the vast spectrum of creative work and research that the Station supports. We would also like to thank CSUCI Art Major Daniel Solis for his great efforts in the design and creation of the virtual exhibition space.
Be sure to save the date so you can join us on May 27 via Zoom. We look forward to seeing you at the virtual celebration of this dynamic collection.
