April 15, 2019 - Students from CSUCI and other southern California campuses are once again partnering with the Getty Center for "College Night at the Getty Center: Dreaming in Color" on Monday, April 29 at 6 p.m. This free event is designed exclusively by college students for college students and will be held at the The Getty Center in Los Angeles.

The evening's theme this year celebrates color - color in our dreams, in art, the science of color, and the possibilities of a more colorful future. Contra-Tiempo Dance Theater will put on an original performance and DJ sets by Kronika will be accompanied by artist Travis Flournoy's live projections. In addition to music and dance, attendees will be able to create an original piece of art using their brainwaves, participate in art-making activities and scientific exploration, and design their very own screen-printed bookmark inspired by Walt Whitman and photographer Oscar Rejlander.

In addition to free food, multiple tours and a cash bar, surprises will pop up throughout the night. Advance tickets are recommended and can be reserved now. The event is free and open to college students with ID.
