March 26, 2018 - California State University Channel Islands Student Nurses' Association & Nursing Honor Society would like to cordially invite faculty, students, and health professionals to participate in our 1st Annual Nursing and Allied Health Global Health Symposium.
The purpose of this annual event is to “identify and evaluate population health issues by focusing on health promotion and disease prevention throughout the lifespan”. This program will provide a platform for interdisciplinary professionals and students, at all levels of academia (pre-licensure and beyond), to exchange dialogue, collaborate, and engage in scholarly activities to improve health outcomes at local, national, and global levels.
We will have two amazing keynote speakers, multiple breakout sessions, and informative research posters. Healthcare professionals with active licenses will obtain 4.5 CEU’s after completion of a full day of activities.
