Oct. 25, 2017 - On Thursday, Nov. 16 Emmy Award winning filmmaker Lisa Russell will visit CI for a screening about global health issues, "Heroines of Health." The event will take place at noon in Ojai Hall 1986.
The film follows three women who work in developing countries as they confront challenging health issues in a challenging environment. After the 25 minute film, a discussion with Ms. Russell will follow. She has over ten years experience as a documentary filmmaker and global health advocate, producing films and creative projects/outreach campaigns with UN/NGO agencies.
