March 22, 2024 - The Center for Community Engagement invites you to a conversation with ESRM students and faculty to hear about lessons learned from their service-learning trip to Maui after last year’s devastating wildfires.
In January, twenty students and several faculty members plus a lab technician, spent ten days on the island of Maui helping with restoration and cleanup, and other support, while some team members also conducted research to learn about the impact of the fire on the environment and sea life.
The discussion will be held on Friday, March 29 from 10 a.m. to noon in Bell Tower 2371. A virtual option via Zoom is available.
