Jan. 25, 2021 - Save the date for the second annual CSUCI Lunar New Year Celebration from Feb. 11 - 18, hosted by the International Programs office and campus partners. This year’s virtual celebration will bring a week’s worth of live events and interactive content to ring in the Year of the Ox!
The celebration will kick off with a reunion dinner, or a New Year’s Eve dinner, to share in virtual togetherness. During the week of celebration, cook traditional Lunar New Year dishes alongside Chef Manocchio at UAS. Test your global knowledge at Trivia Night while enjoying a pre-packaged box of international goodies mailed straight to your home, courtesy of Housing and Residential Education. Hear Business Professor Dr. Liang discuss how Lunar New Year is celebrated in China. Learn about the do’s and don’ts of Chinese etiquette from community partners at Ventura County Chinese American Association. Drop into our Conversation Café to practice some new phrases.
