Jan. 10, 2020 - Each year the Center for Community Engagement hosts a day of service in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. The annual Day of Service is intended to empower individuals, strengthen communities, bridge barriers, create solutions, and move us closer to Mr. King's vision of a "beloved community."
This year, we will honor that vision by serving at Food Share in the Senior Nutrition Garden. Tasks will include (but are not limited to) harvesting vegetables, planting seeds, weeding with garden tools, installing irrigation, and helping with other projects (e.g. building garden boxes, putting meshing).
