Master of Public Administration to launch in Fall 2024Feb. 9, 2024 – CSUCI is excited to start a new program this fall! The MPA Program at CSUCI provides a diverse student body with an unparalleled, student-centered graduate education. Faculty instill leadership, management, and innovative problem-solving skills in public administration and policy analysis grounded in the values of quality, ethical behavior, teamwork, and diversity.

 The CSUCI MPA program uses integrative approaches, emphasizes experiential and service learning, and graduates students with multicultural and international perspectives. Coursework focuses on mission-based organizations, outcomes assessment, and continual improvement.

Graduates of the program demonstrate responsibility to society and commitment to service, education, and the benefits of life-long learning.

Admission requirements for the MPA program at CSUCI:

  • 2.5 overall GPA
  • 2 letters of recommendation
  • Completion of Political Science 150 or the equivalent
  • Completion of BA prior to enrollment

An early admission program is available for students who are juniors with a 3.0 and above, conditional on degree completion.

The priority application deadline is April 1, 2024 for Fall 2024 and November 4, 2024 for Spring 2025 (with rolling admissions).

The program will waive or reimburse application fees for (qualified) students applying for Fall 2024 or Spring 2025 admission.
