May 7, 2018 - The CSUCI Police Department is excited to welcome two new officers to its ranks. Officer Dan Wade and Officer Hector Gomez officially started during the first week of May and will be busy over the next few months learning the lay of the land and becoming oriented to the way of life at CSUCI as they complete the intensive P.O.S.T. certified Field Training Program.
Officer Wade graduated from the Ventura County Criminal Justice Training Center and joins CSUCI after working for the Santa Barbara Police Department. Officer Wade grew up in Oxnard and is a graduate of California Lutheran University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a minor in Sociology.
Officer Gomez graduated from the Frank Bland Regional Training Center in San Bernardino County and joins CSUCI after working for the Ridgecrest Police Department. Officer Gomez grew up in San Bernardino and is a graduate of CSU San Bernardino with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice.
