Open Access WeekOct. 23, 2021 - Please join Broome Library and our campus partners in celebrating Open Access Week 2021 with a range of campus events that forward free and open scholarly communication on our campus!

A series of lectures and events during Open Access Week will explore how we all can be stronger open access advocates through our teaching, scholarship, and service.

  • Monday, Oct. 25, Noon: Intro to the Open Access Movement
  • Monday, Oct. 25, 4 to 6 p.m.: Open Access/ORCid Happy Hour (co-sponsored by Broome Library & RSP, faculty only)
  • Tuesday, Oct. 26, Noon: What is ORCid?
  • Wednesday, Oct. 27, Noon: Advocating for Open Access in RTP
  • Thursday, Oct. 28, Noon: Open Access & Grant Writing
  • Friday, Oct. 29, Noon: Open Access Book Publishing

Except for the Happy Hour, all workshops will take place in Broome Library 1756. 

Registration to attend is encouraged. Please visit the Library website to RSVP. All faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend.
