April 6, 2018 - Osman Özturgut, Ph.D., has accepted the position of Dean of Extended University and AVP for International Programs at CSUCI and he will join the University on July 9.
Özturgut has served as the Dean of Research and Graduate Studies at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas since 2015. During his time in that position, he has overseen 31 graduate and professional programs, including 6 online programs, across 11 schools and colleges.
A native of Turkey, Özturgut received his B.A. in American Culture and Literature from Hacettepe University, and went on to earn a Master's of Arts in Teaching (Webster University), a Master's in Education (University of Missouri, St. Louis), and a Master's of Business Administration (University of the Incarnate Word). He also earned a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Missouri in St. Louis.
