Feb. 5, 2018 - In response to the disturbing increase in fascist and white supremacist activity and related militia presence locally, nationally and internationally, the Centers for Multicultural Engagement (CME) and Integrative Studies (CIS) are co-sponsoring a monthly speaker/discussion series entitled Our Stories Matter.
This discussion series will consist of focused interdisciplinary evidence-based perspectives - at least two at each - presented by CSUCI faculty and/or invited experts who will speak to and discuss specific topics related to fascism, white supremacy, current events (local to global), in the context of CSUCI's stated values of diversity, equity and inclusion.
The series will kick off this Wednesday, Feb. 7 with Psychologist Kevin Volkan, who will speak and host a discussion from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Broome 1320. View further details about this session (PDF, 3.4MB).
