April 23, 2018 - Professor Ralph Armbruster-Sandoval will visit CSUCI on April 25 to discuss his new book “Starving for Justice: Hunger Strikes, Spectacular Speech, and the Struggle for Dignity.” Visit El Dorado Hall from 3 to 5 p.m. to hear the professor speak about his experiences during the 1990’s at UCLA, UCSB and Stanford University, where students went on hunger strikes to demand the establishment and expansion of Chicana/o Studies departments.
