May 1, 2018 - The Center for Community Engagement's CI Corps members are collecting donations of new and gently used clothing, shoes and toys, now through May 3, for the 4th annual Street Store on Saturday, May 5 in downtown Oxnard.
The Street Store is a pop-up store for those in need to freely shop for basic items. Goods are organized as they would be in a typical store with clothing on hangers and folded on shelves, arranged by size. Shoppers will be able to have the assistance of a "sales person" and experience shopping in a dignified and compassionate environment, all free of charge.
All clothing and shoe donations can be dropped off in the Ojai Hall lobby between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. through Thursday, May 3.
