Nov. 2, 2021 – The Veterans Resource Center is pleased to announce a few upcoming events to honor veterans during the month of November.

On Nov. 10 at 1 p.m., the Veterans Resource Center will be honoring the Marine Corps’ 246th birthday with cake and ice cream.  All students and staff are welcome to stop by the Center, located in Bell Tower East— Room 1760, to help celebrate. No RSVP is required.

On Nov. 12, join the Divisions of Academic Affairs and Student Affairs as they participate in the Abundant Table volunteer event. Participants will team up from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. to help around the Abundant Table garden and lend a helping hand. Lunch and transportation will be provided; please RSVP to attend this event.

Finally, from Nov. 17-19, student veterans are invited to join the Veterans Resource Center in a debris cleanup trip to Santa Rosa Island. All meals and transportation will be provided for free, and participants will sleep in the bunkhouse on Santa Rosa Island. To RSVP for this event, email Jay Derrico no later than Nov. 12.
