Feb. 19, 2018 - The annual Women's Recognition Luncheon (WRL) Awards will be held on Tuesday, March 6 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m in the Petit Salon.
The Women's Recognition Awards were established in 2003, to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of women on campus and the surrounding community. It is tradition to recognize one faculty member, one staff/administrator, one student and one community member on the basis of their contributions to the community while supporting the CSUCI mission pillars.
This year marks the 16th annual WRL and the featured keynote speaker will be Yesika Salgado, a poet who writes about her family, her culture, her city and her brown body. The theme for this year's luncheon is "She Inspires Me."
