Toys for Tots- donations close Dec. 5

Friday, Dec.5 will be the last chance this year to bring new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots to these campus locations: All food service locations including Islands Café, the Student Union Lighthouse Grill and Freudian Sip, the Broome Library Freudian Sip, Tortilla’s Grill and Cantina, Pizza 3.14, and Town Center Market, as well as the Veterans Affairs Program office in Bell Tower 1524, the Housing & Residential Education office, the University Auxiliary Services, Inc. office and the Cove Bookstore in Town Center.

Our gratitude goes to everyone who donated toys this year; one hundred percent of the toys collected in this event will be distributed as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the Ventura County community. The University Auxiliary Services, Inc. Staff Development Committee, in conjunction with the CI Veterans Affairs Program and campus partners, have joined forces with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program of Port Hueneme to collect new, unwrapped toys for the past three weeks, concluding this Friday, Dec. 5.
