Agent of Change – Online Student Training

CI’s commitment to safety and a recent mandate from the CSU requires all students to complete an online training program to comply with federal and state laws. The Agent of Change training module is an interactive, online program designed to inform you about the critical issues of sexual violence that impact our society at large and countless college students across the country.

View our Frequently Asked Questions about the Agent of Change training module.

All current students must complete the training by May 15, 2015. Those who do not complete the training will be in violation of the CSU Channel Islands Student Code of Conduct.

When prompted for your unique ID, please enter your 9-digit Dolphin ID number. If you do not complete the training during one session, you may resume the training by visiting and logging in using the "Student Login" section on that page along with the username and password you created during your training registration.

Wireless Access Improves on Campus

We now have great wireless access around Broome Library and the Central Mall! During the fall 2014 Technology & Communication (T&C) Student Fair, we received feedback from many students about the quality of wireless access in the open areas around the Broome Library and Central Mall. In collaboration with Facilities Services and strategic partner Pinnacle, we are pleased to report that the wireless coverage in those areas was dramatically improved.

Intercollegiate Athletics at CI

The campus community is invited to join the conversation about the future of intercollegiate athletics at CI. The Division of Student Affairs has retained the services of Strategic Edge Athletic Consulting to assist in creating a feasibility study and a strategic plan for the implementation of athletics. Consultants will lead focus group sessions on “Models and Considerations for Beginning an Intercollegiate Athletics Program” to capture campus feedback for the Athletics Planning Committee to consider. The consultants will also document thoughts, ideas, questions, and concerns.

Strategic Edge Athletic Consulting will be on campus April 29 and 30. Open forums will be held in the Petite Salon on April 30 for staff and faculty from 10:15 to11 a.m. and a separate faculty session scheduled from 2:45 to3:30 p.m. In addition, two student sessions are scheduled for 12:15- to 1 p.m. and 4 to 4:45 p.m.

For additional information contact Ed Lebioda, Associate Vice President for Student Affairs, Wellness & Athletics, at ext. 8547 or ed.lebioda@csuci.edu.
