Please report immediately any crimes, medical emergencies, accidents, or public safety concerns to the Police Department. Your Police Department’s 24 hour communications center personnel will promptly dispatch the appropriate resources to the incident.
Call 9-1-1 if using a campus phone
Call 437 – 8444 if using your cell phone
Calls made to 9-1-1 on a cell phone are automatically routed to the California Highway Patrol. The CHP Dispatcher must then manually route the call to the CSUSI Dispatcher. This process often results in a delay – or even worse a loss of vital information – that could impede an efficient public safety response. Take the time to program 805-437-8444 into your cell phone and label it “CSUCI Police.” If you need us we’re just a quick key away!
- Call us on one of many “code blue phones” located around campus. They’re generally found near the parking lots. You simply need to push one button to reach the Police Dispatcher.
- Use a campus pay phone to reach the Police Dispatcher by dialing *88.
- Email us at police@csuci.edu
- Stop by our offices located off Lot A1. We’re in the Public Safety Building across the street from Sage Hall. Someone’s always here to help you.
Anonymous Reporting
The CSUCI Police Department has partnered with WeTIP, a California based non-profit organization that supports crime prevention efforts. WeTIP offers you the ability to provide an anonymous tip that could lead to a cash reward. http://wetip.com
