COVID-19 Transportation & Parking Updates

  • Public Safety Customer Service Center (CSC): The CSC hours of operation Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Tuesday & Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
    • Social distancing and increased safety precautions will be in place. Only one person will be permitted in the lobby at a time and face coverings will be required.
    • For Transportation and Parking Services (TPS) questions, please email or call (805) 437-8430.
    • For staff and faculty wanting to stop their annual/monthly parking permit payroll deduction, you will need to contact TPS to arrange for the physical return of your parking permit to our office.

  • Parking Permit Required: A valid parking permit is required at all times on campus. Spring 2021 semester parking permits are now on sale via or the CI Parking Permits Link in myCI, or you can purchase a daily parking permit for $6 via the daily permit dispensers (located in A1, A2, A3, & A4).
    *Students and employees who will be coming to the campus in the spring should evaluate the cost effectiveness of purchasing a daily permit for each visit versus paying the full price for a semester permit. If a student will only visit the campus one day per week, for example, buying a $6 daily permit will be far more cost effective ($6 per day (week) x 16 weeks = $96). Financially speaking, a student should only purchase a $195 semester permit if they plan to visit the campus more than 32 times during the semester.
  • VCTC Bus: Route 99 is the only route in operation coming directly to campus 7 days a week from Camarillo Metrolink, the Oxnard C Street Transfer Center, and Oxnard College. Students, staff, and faculty ride for free by showing their University ID. VCTC is practicing social distancing on their buses (face masks required to ride) and has increased sanitization efforts to abide by CDC guidelines.
