Helene Schneider, Regional Director of Development
Helene Schneider, Regional Director of Development for University Advancement, joined CSUCI in January 2018. Prior to joining the campus, Helene served two terms as the Mayor of Santa Barbara and two terms on the Santa Barbara City Council. Helene has a background in human resources and public service and will focus on connecting people to the University from South Santa Barbara County.
Amanda Carpenter, Ed.D., Director of Career Development and Alumni Engagement
Amanada Carpenter, Ed.D., Director of Career Development and Alumni Engagement, began her time at CSUCI as the Coordinator of Career Development Services. Since then, she has earned doctorate degree in Education and developed numerous programs for CSUCI students, including the internship program for the Henry L. "Hank" Lacayo Institute for Workforce & Community Studies (HLI). More recently, Amanda was appointed Director of Career Development and Alumni Engagement. In this role, she will oversee programs that foster professional career development for current CSUCI students and alumni alike.
Steven Guetzoian, Specialist, Alumni Engagement & Annual Fund
Steven Guetzoian joined CSUCI in 2015 after gaining expertise as a membership coordinator for a local non-profit and fund manager for a Ventura County financial institution. He works with Amanda and her team to cultivate engaging programs for CSUCI alumni and supports prosperous events for the University. Steven attended CSUCI from 2008-2012, earning a bachelor's degree.
