The University Events team serves as advisers to and partners with University departments, staff, and faculty on planning and producing a variety of events that help the University advance its mission.  A University-wide partner, we collaborate with the CSUCI community to provide helpful, personalized logistical and event planning support. 

Virtual Events

University Events is available to support your upcoming virtual event. We provide consultation on how to plan your virtual event using the Zoom platform, participant registration through Zoom, guidance on how to run your virtual event, and post-event attendee reports.  To schedule your virtual event, please submit a request in 25Live.

University Events maintains a robust inventory of equipment available for your event, including chairs, tables and A/V equipment.  A complete list of the inventory can be found in the resources section of 25Live.

University Events does not have equipment to support hybrid (part virtual, part in-person) events.  We can refer those interested in hosting hybrid events to an approved and trusted AV vendor.

Approved Vendors

All vendors must be approved by the Division of Business and Financial Affairs prior to contracting. The University Events office has information on high quality vendors able to provide additional services and resources not available from the campus.


University Auxiliary Services, Inc. (UAS) is the exclusive provider of catering for campus events. Please visit University Auxiliary Services for more information. 

Food Trucks

Food Trucks on campus are approved and regulated through the University Auxiliary Services, Inc.. Food Trucks can be requested through the 25Live scheduling system or by contacting Peter Maher at Requests for new food trucks on campus must be submitted no less than 45 days prior to your event to allow time for University Auxiliary Services, Inc. to contact the vendor to complete all necessary paperwork and insurance requirements. When selecting a food truck from the Approved Vendor List, please make note of which vendor you will be using for your event in your 25Live request.

Daily parking permits may be purchased from permit dispensers located in Lots A1, A2, A3, A4, the lobby of the Police and Parking office at Placer Hall, or through 25Live as part of your event reservation. Permits are valid only on the date of purchase. The cost of the daily permit is $3.00 for university events. The dispensers will accept coins; and $1, $5, and $10 bills and give change in one dollar coins. All permit and parking regulations are enforced seven days a week, 24 hours a day. All vehicles parked on campus are required to have a parking permit.
