Eligibility

  • Current CSUCI student at time of application.

Application: Two-Step Process

  1. Complete the CSUCI Short-Term Study Abroad: Direct-Enroll Application.
  2. After completing Step 1, a link will be provided to applicants to apply direct to UNYP.

Academic Information

The following English-taught courses are offered in the winter:
  1. Art & Architecture of Prague (3 units):
  2. The World of Beer: Economic & Communication Context (3 units):

Courses may be pre-approved for UDGE or major/minor offerings, contingent on advisor approval

Cost

The program cost is approximately $2,300 which includes:
    • Tuition & fees
    • Housing
    • Airport pick up
    • Transportation pass
    • Student benefits program
    • On-site orientation
    • Mailing of final transcript

The fee does not include roundtrip flight, everyday meals, recreational travel, travel & health insurance (approx. $140), and personal expenses.

Host campus fees are paid direct to UNYP upon acceptance, including a non-refundable $500 deposit by UNYP's application deadline if you are accepted.

Housing

  • Housing is in shared room arranged by UNYP through its partner company, UNYP Corporate Services. UNYP-arranged housing has wifi or other internet access. Washing facilities are at an extra cost.
  • UNYP-arranged housing is usually 5 to 30 minutes away from UNYP by public transportation.

  • UNYP’s campus is situated in Vinohrady, a quiet, upscale neighborhood in central Prague. UNYP's facilities combine 19th-century architectural appeal with 21st-century teaching and technology.
  • The Czech Republic is ranked among one of the safest countries in the world. The capital city of the Czech Republic, Prague radiates European charm. Cobblestoned streets lined with colorful, ornate 19th-century buildings make for the ultimate student experience. With proximity to cafes, museums, galleries, shops, parks, and more, there is no shortage of things to do!
