We encourage all CSUCI students, employees, vendors, contractors, and campus visitors/members of the public, who have physically been on campus and have tested positive for COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive, to please self-report this information as soon as possible using the link below:

Report a positive COVID-19 case or possible exposure

To comply with legislative reporting requirements for potential workplace exposure to COVID-19, the chart below lists dates and locations of an individual or individuals who tested positive for COVID-19. Individuals with known direct sustained interaction will be notified directly by the campus’ COVID Contact Tracing Team. CSUCI will provide direction to students and employees, follow-up with supervisors as needed, and provide exposure notifications to close contacts as needed.

CSUCI continues to offer free COVID-19 testing for students and employees. Please see below for additional information about support for students and employees.

Students
We encourage students to communicate directly to your faculty members regarding missing class and making up any missed assignments. Employee Benefits
CSU Channel Islands state-side and auxiliary employees may be entitled to various benefits under applicable federal and state laws, and university-specific policies and collective bargaining agreements.

Building Information:
Buildings are cleaned as indicated per the routine custodial cleaning schedule and in compliance with Cal/OSHA regulations.

Were you exposed to someone with COVID-19?
All close contact exposures are recommended to test as soon as possible and again in 3-5 days, and to wear a well-fitting mask while indoors for 10 days after the exposure.

Anyone needing urgent testing access because of an exposure to COVID-19 or possible symptoms of COVID-19 can call the Environmental Health & Safety at 805-437-3550 during regular business hours to arrange testing.

  • If your department works outside regular business hours, your supervisor may be able to provide you with at-home test kits.

Close Contact: California Department of Public Health (CDPH) defines a close contact exposure as being within the same indoor airspace (regardless of proximity) for 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour cumulative period with a person who has COVID-19.

Quarantine and Isolation of identified high-risk exposures will be determined by the CSUCI Contact Tracing Team and will be based on CDC/CDPH protocols.
