As of Feb. 3, 2025, the Cal/OSHA COVID-19 Prevention Non-Emergency Regulations, which have provided guidelines for reducing the spread of COVID-19 in workplaces, have ended.
We remain committed to ensuring the health and safety of our campus community, so we encourage you to continue practicing appropriate health and safety measures for yourself and others.
Symptoms
COVID-19 symptoms can vary widely, but some of the possible and more common symptoms include:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath
- Sore throat
- Congestion/runny nose
- Loss of taste or smell
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Stomach upset
- Headache

COVID-19 Tests
CSUCI does still have some supply of COVID-19 at-home test kitts for staff, faculty and students who may be experiencing symptoms. These tests are available free of charge while supplies last. Please contact Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) at 805-437-8550 to arrange pickp-up of a test kit.
If you haven't already, you may still order four (4) free COVID-19 rapid antigen tests per household from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services at COVIDTests.gov; one order per address.
