  1. Will the campus continue to remain open during any strike activity? 
    1. Student instruction and other student services will continue during any such activity. 
    2. The strike should not interfere with students being able to complete their courses and graduate on time. 

  2. Will classes continue as scheduled during a strike, i.e. in-person or virtually?
    1. While a strike has been called, faculty or other employees have a right to work during a strike.
    2. We strongly suggest students directly contact their instructors individually to ask about any changes to the class or schedule format.

  3. Will food on on campus continue to be available for students living in housing or for the campus community? 
    1. We do not expect there to be any impact on food/dining services. You may visit their website at https://uas.csuci.edu/hospitality/hospitality-locations.htm for dining services information. 

  4. Is the VCTC bus still operating with their normal semester schedule? 
    1. Yes. There will be no disruption to VCTC bus service.

  5. Will student services on campus continue to be available?

  6. Will the library remain open?
    1. Yes. However, some Library services may be limited.  Visit their website at https://library.csuci.edu/ for additional information. 

  7. Will Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) continue to be available for appointments, in-person or virtual? 
    1. We are unsure how this strike may impact CAPS services. However, emergency counseling services are always available by calling 805-437-2088  or if you need immediate crisis support you can call 855-854-1747 or text "Hello" to 988.
