May 2, 2023 — Employee Learning and Development's force is with you this month, bringing a variety of in-person, virtual and on-demand opportunities.

The May learning challenge is "Collaborating in a Multigenerational Workplace." Several on-demand options from LinkedIn Learning and CSU Learn are highlighted.

The Institutional Research team is presenting "Employment and Education Successes of CI Students after Graduation" on May 16 in Madera Hall 1900.

"CSUs Got Talent," live webcasts organized by the Chancellor's Office, will feature "The Secret to Getting Along: 3 Steps to Creating Better Teams" on May 23 from 10 to 11 a.m.

Cross Campus Collaborations, which are live online courses where employees can learn with colleagues across the CSU are continuing all month. Offerings include "Exposing Hidden Bias" and "Positive Psychology." CSUCI Ombuds Officer Mark Patterson will present "Upward Bullying: Navigating Abusive Behaviors by People with Less Authority" on May 26 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Employees should alert their supervisors if they plan to attend Learning and Development courses.
