Completing First Year Math

All incoming freshmen are required to complete their First Year Math course(s) by the end of their first year. Students will be pre-registered in their initial Math class based upon their assigned math milestone. In addition, some students may need to complete a supporting course along with their assigned math class.

The first year of math at CI will allow students to satisfy the General Education: B4 Mathematics/Quantitative Reasoning requirement.

You may view which math course is appropriate to take based on your major by reviewing the Appropriate Math Course by Major webpage.
