Purpose Statement
The Student Veterans Organization at CSU Channel Islands (SVO@CI) exists to build a strong, supportive community where military-affiliated students—veterans, active duty, reservists, and dependents—can connect, grow, and thrive.
Our mission is to help each other succeed in the classroom, in our careers, and in life after service. We’re here to make sure no one transitions alone—to celebrate shared experiences, build lasting friendships, and continue the spirit of service that unites us.
Through campus involvement, community outreach, and collaboration with the CSUCI Veterans Resource Center, SVO@CI empowers student veterans to lead with purpose, give back, and make a lasting impact. Together, we honor our past by shaping our future.
