Before Advising & Registration
Prepare for the session by...
- Ensuring you are able to log-in to your MyCI Portal
- If you are an undeclared, exploratory student or unsure of your major, review the list of majors offered at CSUCI to get an idea of what you may be interested in.
- If you have college transfer credit, AP, IB, or CLEP, view and familiarize yourself with the Transfer Credit Information page.
- Reviewing the Registration Guides, Tools and Tutorials

- Take part in Drop-In Advising if you have questions regarding your Fall schedule.
- Drop-In Advising Hours: Monday through Thursday, 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
and Friday 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

- Attend First Year Orientation
Once the Semester Begins
- Review Add and Drop Procedures
- Schedule First Appointment with a Peer Advisor through Dolphin Navigate
- Review 4 Year College Success Plan
