Student Rights and Grievances

At CSUCI, students and employees have constitutionally protected rights to free expression, speech, assembly, and worship, as well as rights to due process and equal protection. The Dean of Students office provides advice and assistance to students for answering questions and resolving concerns about their rights, as well as informal and formal grievance procedures. If you have questions about your rights, you may contact Dean of Students office at deanofstudents@csuci.edu . If you believe a student or employee has engaged in activity which violates the Student Code of Conduct and/or University policy, initiate a report online so the concerns may be brought to the University's attention.
