HRE Purpose
In the Division of Student Affairs at CSU Channel Islands (CSUCI), Housing & Residential Education supports the mission of our university by providing facilities, services, and programs to ensure our 1,500+ residents live and learn in a secure, comfortable, and accessible environment. Our student-centered approach is designed to promote academic success, personal growth, responsible citizenship, and service to the community.
We strongly encourage student involvement in the wide variety of activity and leadership opportunities on campus and within our program. We have high hopes, expectations, and standards for our students at CSUCI, and we work to create an environment which encourages student success. We want every student to reach their potential and be effective community and global citizens. Living in a residential community provides an excellent opportunity for students to grow and develop in these areas.
Our campus is committed to placing students at the center of their educational experience. We work diligently in Housing & Residential Education to ensure that our policies and practices are student-centered. You will be more than a number when you come to CSUCI. When you live on campus, we are committed to personal attention and assistance. Please let us know how we may assist you in selecting CSUCI or securing living accommodations on campus.
