Noche de Familia
The Family Night - Noche de Familia held on Saturday, Feb. 22 was a success with many families in attendance. Both CSUCI students and families were welcomed to connect with faculty, staff, and administrators.

This networking event is open and available to all who are interested to apply and/or participate, regardless of race, sex, color, ethnicity or national origin.

6th Annual Male Retreat
The 6th Annual Latino Male Retreat took place at Santa Rosa Island on November 15, 2024. The 3-day expense paid retreat is intended to empower Latino male identifying students to realize their academic and career goals by increasing their engagement with resources, networking, and opportunities at CSUCI. Annual Los Gritos Celebration
The Annual Los Gritos event took place at Central Mall on Thursday, September 12. The event included food trucks, local businesses, dancing, and games. Campus Faculty, students, and staff enjoyed the festivities. We hope to see you at next year's event!


Sí Se Pudo Celebration
The Sí Se Pudo  Student Recognition Celebration is a bilingual end-of-the-year ceremony that celebrates the academic achievements of graduating students, their familias, alumni, staff, faculty and community members. The Si Se Pudo Recognition Ceremony is taking reservations now. This celebration is open and available to all who are interested to apply and/or participate, regardless of race, sex, color, ethnicity or national origin. ChilFASA Executive Board MembersCongratulations to the newly appointed officers: Carolee Hurtado, Faculty Co-Chair ~ Eric Sanchez, At-Large Staff ~ Isaac Quintanilla-Salinas. The new officers started in their positions in June 2024. Plus, the updated bylaws were approved by the members. Future elections are coming in April, all faculty and staff are welcome to join as members and executive board.

Woman's Retreat
The Chicana/Latina Retreat to the Santa Rosa Island aims to provide student empowerment through political, cultural, environmental and social consciousness development; the space allows for community interaction and self-reflection. The all expenses paid retreat was scheduled for March 14 to 16. The application deadline has passed.
