Talar Touloumdjian is a Coordinator of Disability Resource Special Programs (DASS). Originally from the Los Angeles County, Talar is a graduate of California State University Northridge (CSUN), where she received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Counseling with a specialization in College Counseling and Student Services. Through internships, education, and work experience, Talar has had great opportunities working in higher education at several institutions supporting students with disabilities. She has been able to develop the Promoting Independence and Educational Resources (PIER) program at CI, which is a peer mentor transition program for students with disabilities. Talar serves as member of the Campus Assessment, Response and Evaluation (CARE) Team at CI. Prior to her employment at CI, she was involved with the CSUN Crisis Helpline providing support, intervention, and referral services to community members. She is bilingual in Armenian and English. During her free time, Talar enjoys hiking and traveling.
