Diversity Inclusion and Accessibility (DIA)

DIA is an inclusive campus club dedicated to supporting students with disabilities, as well as those who love or are friends with individuals with disabilities. It also serves as a community for those pursuing careers in fields such as government, education, therapy, psychology, social work, health care, and more!

  • Open to all students, regardless of disability status and GPA.

Delta Alpha Pi - Eta Zeta Chapter

Delta Alpha Pi (DAPi) is an academic honor society started in 2004 at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. It honors college students with disabilities for their academic achievements. The Eta Zeta chapter of DAPi has been at CSU Channel Islands since February 2021.

Requirements:

  • 3.1 GPA and completion of 24 units
  • Have a disability 
  • Demonstrate an interest in disability issues
  • Be enrolled and active in a CSUCI major (either undergraduate or graduate) or certificate program
  • Willing to attend club meetings (virtually or in-person)

Once a year, a student from DAPi is recognized as a student leader on the CSUCI Campus. This award is to be given to current CSUCI students who have had an extraordinary and positive impact on the CSUCI community. Learn more
