CI places all students at the center of their education and is committed to providing you with an accessible educational experience. Students with disabilities are valued for the diversity they bring to the campus community. We recognize the various levels of challenges and strengths a disability may bring and our philosophy is to focus on students’ abilities, strengths, and educational determination.

Disability Accommodations and Support Services (DASS) is the only department designated by the University to obtain, review and maintain disability-related documentation as they pertain to requested classroom accommodations. DASS staff are professionally trained and committed to ensuring that all student information, including documentation of disability, is confidentially maintained as required under Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), CSU and Federal guidelines, and legal mandates.
