Please note the following:

Initial awards are based on the assumption that you will be enrolled full-time, even if you indicated on your FAFSA that you plan to enroll in fewer units. Award amounts may vary based on enrollment status. Therefore, disbursement of grant awards will be delayed until the third week of the semester for less than full-time enrollment. To expedite this disbursement process, please complete a Status Change Form, by downloading it from our Forms Library, indicating the number of units you are enrolled in for the semester. Please be advised, your funds cannot be disbursed unless you are in the number of units indicated on the form. Please do not submit a Status Change form if you are on a waitlist for any courses.

Cal Grant awards will remain estimates until the governor signs the state budget and payment is sent to us from the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC).

Your estimated financial aid offer will include a Federal Direct Stafford Loan offer if you have eligibility. This loan award is being offered to you to assist with meeting your educational expenses and is only an offer. Access your Student Center to view your financial aid award and accept, reduce, or decline this loan amount.
