How do I request to pick up my transcript, in person, at Channel Islands?

At this time, for the safety and health of our staff, in person pick up is not available.

Contact if you have any questions.

What if my transcript is not received within the timeline?

Contact the Registrar’s Office for more information. We are unable to track orders once they go out in the mail, but can work with you. Delays can be due to:

  • A hold on your Student Record
  • Incorrect information on the request
  • An international recipient
  • An increased volume of requests received at the beginning or end of the semester
  • COVID-19 remote processing of other agencies and universities

Has my transcript order been processed?

You may track your order online using your order number and the email address you used to place the order. Updates are sent when:

  • Your order has been received
  • If additional information is needed
  • Your order is complete

Can I receive my transcript the same day I order it?

At this time we do not offer expedited services. Official transcripts will take an average of six (6) business days. Please plan accordingly since immediate transcript processing is not an option.

Will my Channel Islands transcript show transfer work?

Only the summary totals of transfer work received by CSU Channel Islands appear on your transcripts; individual courses are not listed. If you need copies of transcripts supplied to CSU Channel Islands, please contact the institution that originally issued your transcript to request a copy.

Does my CI Transcript include my total units and Grade Point Average (GPA)?

Each semester the Term GPA and Cumulative GPA appears on the transcript.

  • Term GPA reflects your statistics for the semester
  • Cumulative GPA reflects both your work completed at CSU Channel Islands and any transfer work posted to your academic record
  • Cumulative Unit Totals for your career appear at the very end of your transcript
  • For more information on how to calculate your GPA please see the GPA Calculator website at

Will my transcripts show that I have finished my degree?

Degrees are typically awarded 8-10 weeks after grades have been finalized following the end of the semester. You may submit an official transcript request online.

How can I check to see if my degree has been posted?

You will receive a notification to your myCI email from Registrar’s Office that your degree has been posted. Also you can review your unofficial transcript in the myCI Portal to determine if your degree is reflected. Once verified, you may request a transcript online.
