New Automated Travel System

In support of the CSUCI priority to operationalize sustainable practices, we are pleased to announce Concur Travel & Expense (Concur). Concur is a comprehensive web-based tool that integrates travel requests, booking, expense reporting, and an automated approval workflow - all in one system. In an ongoing effort to improve efficiency, Concur is going to track final Travel Request and Expense Report approvals electronically.

Project Plan

 Campus roll-out of Concur is being conducted in two main phases:

  • January 21, 2025: Pilot/Soft Launch for Enrollment Management and Academic Affairs. 
  • March 1, 2025: Launched Concur for the rest of campus.

This staged rollout allowed the project team to test the system and make adjustments to its configuration, to the communication plan, and to the staff training sessions.

Live instructor led group training sessions as well as just-in-time one-on-one support are being offered during the Concur implementation. 

Certify will continue to be available until after the final expense report for travel booked through it has been processed. To access Certify and/or Concur visit CSUCI Travel (myCI login required).
