Important Considerations
Ordering does not have the option to hold for degree posting or final grades.
If you need a transcript with your degree posted, check your myCI email first to see if you have received a degree completion notification. Degree posting may take up to 8-10 weeks after grades have posted.
Ordering an Official Transcript
Transcript ordering can currently be done by accessing your transcripts ordering account through the ordering service.
- Official Transcripts cost $5.00 each with an additional cost for paper mailing services.
- A transcript will not be issued and cannot be ordered if you have a hold that prevents transcript printing.
Delivery Options
Transcripts are mailed via the USPS, FedEx, or eTranscript depending on the option you choose. Note: FedEx may not deliver to a PO Box.
Be sure to order with enough time to meet any deadline you have. For standard USPS allow 24-48 hours for your transcript(s) to be generated once your request has been submitted. Processing time varies during holiday closures and grading periods.
For international deliveries, transcripts can only be sent to a physical address via mail or an eTranscript can only be sent directly to an email address.
eTranscripts that are requested to an email address are available for one month, with three log in attempts and seven downloads. After that you will need to reorder.
Unofficial Transcripts
Unofficial transcripts are only available to current students and alumni with access to myCI. Visit your Student Center to view your unofficial transcript.
Official Transcript Legend
CI provides important information about the institution such as WASC accreditation, course numbering, academic calendar, and grading system on the reverse side of the official transcript: Transcript Legend.
CI Official Transcripts appear in a horizontal format with University seal and signature. A sample of how courses appear can be found here: Sample Transcript
