Per the CSU’s announcement on Dec. 22, CSUCI will require faculty, staff and students who are accessing university facilities or programs to receive a vaccine booster shot to be fully immunized against COVID-19 as the most effective protection against infection and severe disease as we see a rise in cases and the expansion of the Omicron variant across the country. As a condition of employment, all employees need to certify vaccination status by attesting you are fully vaccinated, need a medical exemption, need a religious exemption, or are not working on campus. You can obtain more information about or access the full interim vaccination policy. Please certify as soon as you have access to the portal.
Weekly COVID-19 testing is required for ALL employees unless you self-certify in the myCI portal that you are fully vaccinated; employees with medical or religious exemptions need to participate in weekly COVID-19 testing.
Any candidates advanced in a currently open search process should be prepared to comply with this requirement.
