Q. Does CSU Channel Islands have the major I want?
CSU Channel Islands offers 26 undergraduate degree programs and 37 academic minors. View our complete list of majors. Impacted majors such as Nursing and Mechatronics Engineering are not available for redirects. Once you complete the 3-step intent to enroll process after being admitted, we'll ask you to declare your chosen major.

Q. Is Housing Still Available at this Time?
A. Housing is available and anyone who is admitted is eligible to apply through their myCI once you have complete the 3 step intent to enroll process. Contact Housing and Residential Education at (805) 437-2733 or student.housing@csuci.edu

Q. How will I pay for college?
81% of students at CSUCI receive some form of financial aid. Students are encouraged to apply for financial aid early. Remember to include your full name and other personal information (for example, your social security number) on your admission application to ensure we can match your financial aid application to you.
If you have already submitted a 2019-2020 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Dream Application, you will need to: (a) log into your application, (b) add the school code (039803) for Cal State Channel Islands, (c) submit your application. After you submit the updates to your FAFSA/Dream Application, our school will receive your financial aid application information within 3-5 business days. Q. Will I have enough time to submit documents for my admission process?
CSU Channel Islands will review your application and conditionally admit you to our university for Spring 2020 provided you meet the minimum CSU eligibility. Once your application is submitted to us, you should receive an admission decision via email within a week.

Q. If I have been admitted, what do I do next?
Students who have been admitted to CSUCI and wish to reserve a spot to enroll for spring 2020 should complete the 3 step intent to enroll process as outlined in our Transfer Enrollment Guide (PDF, 344KB). The deadline to for CSU Redirected students to complete all 3 steps is Monday, December 9, 2019 11:59 pm.
