Spring 2022 Move-In Checklist

  • Select a move-in time slot from your Housing portal.
  • Pay all CSUCI fees 24 hours prior to move in, or 5 p.m. on 1/18/2022, whichever is earlier.
  • Submit your emergency contact information via myCIRecords by 5 p.m. 1/18/2022 or prior to your move-in,whichever is first.
  • Complete the COVID-19 Training in CSU Learn accessed via myCI by 1/18/22 or prior to your arrival on campus, whichever is first.
  • Obtain a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours prior to your check-in time slot selected in your housing portal. Please reference campus communication for information on free COVID-19 tests in your area, Ventura County, and on campus. We must be able to confirm your negative test to the name of the student and confirm that the test was taken within 48 hours. If you are not able to confirm this and plan to use a at-home test, you may bring your test to check-in and notify a staff member that you need them to verify you taking the test, and then they can confirm the negative reading once completed.
  • Each resident is permitted to bring up to 4 supporters to assist. Each student must complete the Supporter Reporting Form identifying each supporter that will be present at their move-in appointment. All supporters must verify the COVID-19 Self Symptom Check prior to arrival and check-in at the supporter verification station on move-in day.
  • Bring Identification! If you have your Dolphin ID, please provide it during check-in. If you have not received your Dolphin ID Card via mail or have not completed the in-person process in Sage Hall, please provide another form of picture identification. A very small portion of students that completed the SBS process past the deadline, but prior to January 18 will have their ID at check-in when they arrive.

Check-In Times:

Residents may check-in during their check-in time they selected on their Housing portal. As a reminder, all students that check in are required to provide verification at check-in of a negative COVID test within 48 hours of their check-in time. If you choose to select to be tested on site before your check-in time, please plan accordingly to your check-in time slot as the rapid test on site takes approximately 30 minutes to receive your test response. You may revise your assigned check-in time in the Housing application.

Fees:

Room and board charges will be posted to student accounts prior to move-in. All tuition and room and board fees (according to village assignment) are due on or before the deadline, even if you are expecting financial aid that has not yet funded. Please note that any student who fails to pay tuition and fee obligations by the payment deadline may be dropped from their classes and will not be able to move in until the balance owed is cleared.
